Square
Connect your Square account to pull in retail orders, product catalog, inventory, and payment processing data.
Connection Method
OAuth — one-click authorization through Square's secure OAuth flow.
How to Connect
- Go to Dashboard > Integrations
- Click Connect on the Square card
- You will be redirected to Square to sign in and authorize Nummbas
- After authorization, you will be returned to Nummbas and your data will begin syncing
What Gets Synced
Orders
- Order identifier and total price
- Order state (completed, cancelled, etc.)
- Line items with product titles, quantities, and prices
- Customer country and region (available for orders with shipping fulfillments, such as Square Online orders)
Processing Fees
- Total fees and total processed volume
- Fee percentage
- Transaction count
- Refund total
Products
- Product title and variant titles
- SKU, price, and cost
- Inventory quantity
- Product type

- Dashboard KPIs — retail revenue and transaction count displayed on your main dashboard so you can see how your retail sales are doing at a glance
- Business Insights — retail revenue, transactions, locations, Square disputes, and refund rate, giving you a full picture of your Square business health
- Product Command Center — product margins and inventory from your Square catalog so you can see which products are most profitable and what needs restocking
- Customer Geography — order distribution by location, showing you where your customers are buying from so you can plan shipping and marketing accordingly
- Expense Intelligence — Square processing fees automatically appear as an expense category so you can track how much you are paying in transaction fees over time
Troubleshooting
- Connection failed — Make sure you are signing in with a Square account that has owner or admin permissions. If the connection fails, go back to the Integrations page and try connecting again.
- Data not appearing after connecting — The initial sync can take a few minutes depending on how many orders and products are in your Square account. Check the integration status on the Integrations page to confirm the sync is in progress.
- Stale or outdated numbers — Nummbas syncs your Square data automatically every 4 hours. If you need the latest numbers right away, you can trigger a manual sync from the Integrations page.
