eBay
Connect your eBay seller account to bring your orders, fees, refunds, payouts, and active listings with their stock into Nummbas. Nummbas reads your eBay data. The one change it can make on eBay is a listing's quantity, and only after you turn on stock levels sent to eBay in Product Command Center.
Connection Method
OAuth: you sign in to eBay and agree to give Nummbas access. You do not need an API key.
How to Connect
- Go to Dashboard > Integrations
- Select Connect Store on the eBay card
- Sign in to eBay with the account you sell from
- Review the access Nummbas asks for, then agree
- eBay sends you back to Nummbas, and your eBay data starts to sync
When you first connect, Nummbas reads up to two years of past eBay orders, which is as far back as eBay allows.

What Nummbas Does Not Do
- Nummbas does not edit your listings or prices, message buyers, ship orders, or issue refunds. It changes a listing's quantity only when you have turned on stock levels sent to eBay.
- Nummbas never stores buyer names, eBay usernames, email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses, or postcodes. It recognizes a repeat buyer only by a scrambled ID made from their eBay username.
eBay's sign-in page lists the access Nummbas asks for. eBay has no read-only option for financial data, so that permission also mentions refunds. Nummbas only uses it to read. The sign-in also asks for permission to update listing quantities. Nummbas uses it only when you turn on stock levels sent to eBay.
Product Costs
eBay does not share what your products cost you. Enter the cost of each eBay product in Nummbas, and your profit includes your product costs.
Stock and Inventory
How eBay Sales Are Counted
Nummbas adds your eBay sales to the sales from your store or Stripe. eBay collects the buyer's payment itself, so an eBay sale does not also appear in Stripe.
If your Shopify, BigCommerce, Wix, or WooCommerce store also receives copies of your eBay orders through a channel app, Nummbas matches each copy to its eBay order by the eBay order number and counts the sale once. A copy without the eBay order number cannot be matched, and the eBay card shows how many of these copies there are.
Nummbas Books
If you use Nummbas Books, your eBay sales, fees, refunds, and payouts post to your books. Adjustments, such as disputes, wait in review until you record them.
Features Powered by eBay Data
- Dashboard KPIs: revenue, order count, and average order value include your eBay sales
- Product Command Center: eBay listings with stock and sales pace, and margins once you add product costs
- Customer Geography: where your eBay orders ship, by country and region
- Expense Intelligence: Promoted Listings ad fees count in your ad spend, and eBay's payment processing fees count in your processing cost per order
Manage or Repair a Connection
Disconnect eBay
Select Disconnect on the eBay card. Nummbas stops reading your eBay account and deletes the eBay orders, money movements, payouts, and listings it saved. If you use Nummbas Books, the entries already posted to your books stay there, because they are part of your accounting records. Your stock records stay in Inventory, and the eBay fulfilment location Nummbas keeps for you stays as a location you can count or empty.
eBay keeps Nummbas's access until you remove it in eBay. Go to My eBay > Account settings > Sign in and security > Third-party app access, select Nummbas, and revoke its access.
