Nummbas ("we," "us," or "our") provides a financial command center for direct-to-consumer (DTC) businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our website and services. By using Nummbas, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Your name, email address, business name, and password when you create an account.
• Financial Data: Revenue, expenses, orders, ad spend, shipping costs, bank balances, bank transactions, and other business metrics pulled from your connected services. This data is collected with your authorization through secure connections.
• Customer Purchase History: Customer email addresses included with order or transaction records. Nummbas converts each address into a separate matching code that does not contain the email address. This lets Nummbas recognize the same customer across your connected stores and payment sources. The original email address is not retained after this conversion.
• Usage Data: How you interact with Nummbas, including pages visited, features used, and session duration. This helps us improve the product.
• Payment Information: Billing details processed by our payment provider. We do not store your full credit card number.

• Provide the Service: Display your financial dashboard, generate insights, and power the AI assistant with your business data.
• Recognize Repeat Customers: Combine purchase history for the same customer across your connected stores and payment sources. This lets Nummbas calculate customer lifetime value, repeat purchase rate, and retention without counting the same purchase twice.
• Improve the Product: Analyze usage patterns to make Nummbas better. We use aggregated, anonymized data for this purpose.
• Communicate With You: Send account-related emails, respond to support requests, and share important updates about the service.
• Process Payments: Manage your subscription billing through our payment provider.

We do not sell your data. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• Connected Services: We share only the information needed to connect the services you choose and receive the data you approve. When you connect a bank, Plaid handles the bank sign-in and provides Nummbas with the balances and transactions you choose to share.
• AI Service Providers: To power the AI assistant, we send relevant financial context to our AI provider. This data is processed in real time and is not used to train their models.
• Payment Processor: Your billing information is handled by our payment processor to manage subscriptions.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

We protect your data using encryption in transit and at rest, secure access controls, and regular monitoring. For more details, visit our Data Security page.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. The original customer email address is not retained after the matching code is created. The matching code is kept only while needed to calculate customer lifetime value, repeat purchases, and retention. It is removed from order data when Nummbas receives a valid request to delete that customer's data. When you disconnect a bank, Nummbas removes the saved data for that bank connection after access has been removed. If you close your account, access ends immediately. Your account data is permanently removed after a 90-day recovery period. Some data may be retained longer if required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes.

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
• Deletion: Request that we delete your account and associated data.
• Export: Download your data in a portable format.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in to the Nummbas application. We also use analytics tools to understand how our site is used and first-party marketing measurement to understand whether our ads are working.
